Strategic Planning Fountain Creek Watershed Public Forum

Join us to share your thoughts and ideas on the Fountain Creek Watershed & how we maintain and improve our region's treasured waterway.

Manitou Springs City Hall: 606 Manitou Ave, Manitou Springs, CO 80929

The Fountain Creek Watershed Flood Control and Greenway District was established in 2009 in order to mitigate flooding, erosion and sedimentation, address water quality issues, improve drainage, protect open space, and develop public recreational opportunities along our waterways.

The District was originally provided $50 million in funding to support these efforts. Over the last decade plus, the District has provided many improvements that improve the health and recreational opportunities of our region's main waterway.

However, the original $50 million of funding will be exhausted soon and the Fountain Creek Watershed is asking the public for your feedback on how we should continue supporting and improving the health and recreational opportunities of our Fountain Creek watershed.

Please attend and let your voice be heard. Our watershed is a public amenity and the public deserves a say in its future! Light refreshments will be provided!
