What is Leave No Trace?

Leave No Trace encourages folks who enjoy the outdoors to follow seven prinicples to minimize impacts to the environment. When followed, the principles help to solve these problems:

  • Polluted water
  • Lack of inclusivity in the outdoors
  • Wildlife at risk
  • Damaged trails
  • Destructive fires
  • Educating youth about outdoor stewardship
