Lucy Rogers

Position: Watershed Outreach Assistant (Colorado College PIFP Yearlong Fellow)

Lucy graduated from Colorado College with a degree in Geology in May 2025. She was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota but spent every summer tagging along with her parents (both paleontologists) on dinosaur bone digs in central Montana. Through this balance of city life and country life, she gained a deep love for nature which inspired her to become an environmental advocate. In addition to being an advocate for our natural environments, Lucy loves to fly fish, dance, travel, and spend time at home knitting, sewing, or reading a good book.

"I am super grateful and excited for the opportunity to be the PIFP Yearlong Fellow, and I am hoping that this experience will allow me to not only become more connected with our local community and watershed, but will allow me to gain a deeper understanding of the important conversations and decision-making that allows for the protection of our beloved natural environments."
