Creek Week 2022 Summary

Congratulations and THANK YOU for another successful Creek Week!

Every single one of you–crew leaders, sponsors, steering committee members, and CAG members–played a vital role that contributed to over 3,000 community members removing 11.5 tons of trash and debris from our watershed this year alone.

Please take some time to look through our annual post-event summary report that includes:

Creek Week cleanup crew

– facts and figures from this year’s program
– special events and partnerships
– crew photos
– in-kind / fiscal sponsor recognition
– and more!

To all crew members and colleagues–we are so grateful for all of your support!

5th Annual Pikes Peak Litter Letter Project

May contain: Litter Letter Project

Every year, the Fountain Creek Watershed Flood Control and Greenway District partners with local organizations for the Pikes Peak Litter Letter Project. This annual event produces a sculpture created from collected trash along our local waterways and public lands. The trash collected from Creek Week as well as other clean up events is used to create this unique piece of community art! It will be on display throughout October to celebrate Arts Month.

The 2022 sculpture spelled the word: PRICELESS
