Christian (Chris) Lieber currently serves as the Chief Operations Officer (COO) for Fountain Creek Watershed, Inc. dba Pikes Peak Waterways. Chris's “results-oriented” approach to problem solving is based upon a foundation of community involvement, collaboration and more than 30 years of professional experience.

Chris previously served for nearly two decades as Manager of the Colorado Springs Trails, Open Space and Parks Program. Under his leadership and direct project management, the City expanded its open space system by 7,500 acres, built more than 40 parks and constructed more than 200 miles of trails. In addition to his role as COO of Pikes Peak Waterways, Chris currently is a principal and business owner at N.E.S. Inc., a leading landscape architecture and land planning firm in Colorado Springs.
