NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Fountain Creek Watershed, Flood Control and Greenway District PROPOSED 2024 CONSOLIDATED BUDGET

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Section 29-1-105, C.R.S., a proposed consolidated budget for the Fountain Creek Watershed, Flood Control and Greenway District and the Fountain Creek Watershed Water Activity Enterprise, a wholly owned business of the Fountain Creek Watershed, Flood Control and Greenway District, was submitted to the Fountain Creek Watershed, Flood Control and Greenway District (hereinafter “District”) Board at the regular meeting of the District Board on November 17, 2023, for the ensuing fiscal year of 2024. Copies of the proposed 2024 Consolidated Budget have been posted on the District’s website at www.fountain-crk.org or may be requested in writing to Fountain Creek Watershed, Flood Control and Greenway District, P.O Box 8100, Colorado Springs, CO 80933.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on Friday November 17, 2023 at 9:00 a.m., in person at Fountain City Hall (116 N. Main Street Fountain, CO) and online at https://us06web.zoom.us/j/89493089235 or other time and place to which this hearing may be adjourned, the District will hold a Public Hearing pursuant to Section 29-1-106, C.R.S., at which time the proposed 2024 Consolidated Budget will be considered. All interested electors within the District (El Paso County and Pueblo County) will be given the opportunity to be heard concerning the said budget; and upon approval by the District Board, the said budget will be formally adopted and appropriated.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that any interested elector within the District may file or register any objection to the proposed Budget in writing at any time prior to final adoption by the District Board to Fountain Creek Watershed, Flood Control and Greenway District, P.O Box 8100, Colorado Springs, CO 80933
