Originally from Minnesota, Alli obtained a degree in Natural Resource Management in Wisconsin. She has worked in Colorado, Alaska, and Minnesota in environmental, stormwater, and wilderness education. She has served the Pikes Peak region in various roles at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, local nature centers, City of Colorado Springs, Colorado Springs Utilities, and as a consultant for the District before appointment as the Executive Director in December 2022. Alli and her husband are avid gardeners, outdoor enthusiasts, travelers, and cat parents. Fun fact: her husband proposed to her 60’ underwater while scuba diving in Fiji!
